Nestled with native plants, vibrant flowers, and fruit-laden trees, our garden is an oasis for learning and leisure.
Join us this Saturday, May 4th, from 9-12 noon, 2015 Salisbury Street to nurture our beautiful garden. We’ll be spreading mulch and love – all for the sake of our community.
Pack your gloves and water, we’ll take care of light snacks, breezy air and guaranteed fun!

Be Well Café selected as a 2024 What’s Right with the Region Honoree!
On May 9, 2024, FOCUS St. Louis will honor 20 individuals, organizations, and initiatives making a difference at the 27th Annual What’s Right with the Region Awards Celebration. These honorees were nominated by the public and selected by a committee of local leaders for their impact and service to the community.
Be Well Café is an honoree in the “Promoting Community Health and Well-being” category.
Be Well Farmers Market Opens
Wednesday, May 29th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
While our Farmers Pavilion is under construction, (scheduled to be completed by September 2024) the market will be located at Ratio PocketPark, directly across the street from Be Well Cafe at 2101 Salisbury.
The market is open on the last Wednesday of each month thru October 29th.

Exciting News for 2024!
Plans for the Be Well Cafe’ and Market…. Our Grand Opening is set for this of Summer! Updates on the progress will be provided monthly.
- Groundbreaking Ceremony for our Rain Scape Gardens and Patio. Join us on Wednesday, March 6th, 4:00 – 4:30 at 2027 . The rain gardens will be adjacent to the Be Well Pavilion and next to the Be Well Cafe. The ability to go outside and get some fresh air has never been more important since the inception of COVID-19.
- The Be Well Cafe’ Pavilion located at 2030 Salisbury, directly across the street from the Be Well Café & Market will be coming in the Fall of 2024 . Investing in nature-centered space such as parks and dedicated community green space contributes significantly to the community’s health and economy. We’ll host outdoor community events, artisan festivals, food truck Wednesdays and tons of local entertainment.
Food on the Move at Be Well Cafe!
Thanks-for-Giving and supporting the Be Well Farmers Market. We want to give back, so join us on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 3:30 until 5:30 at 2030 Salisbury, (across the street from Be Well Café’) for your holiday grocery shopping at the Food on the Move Food mobile “store” sponsored by St. Louis Area Foodbank.
During this event, neighbors are able to walk through the 28-foot trailer and choose the foods, toiletries, and cleaning supplies that they desire! No pre-packed boxes. There is NO verification of personal information required to participate. All are welcome to shop while supplies last.

Free Health Screening at Be Well Farmers Market.
Many types of screenings and tests can catch a disease before it starts or in its early stages. This is critical for keeping health problems from developing into chronic conditions.
The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Community Health Mobile Van in partnership with BJC HealthCare will be at Be Well Farmers Market, 2027 Salisbury, St. Louis, MO 63107 this Saturday, August 20th from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. The Health Mobile Van will be offering free baseline health screenings that include:
- Blood Pressure - High blood pressure usually has no symptoms and cannot be detected without being measured. High blood pressure increases risk of heart disease and stroke.
- Glucose - A blood glucose test is used to find out if your blood sugar levels are in a healthy range. It is often used to help diagnose and monitor diabetes.
- Cholesterol - High Cholesterol increases your risk for heart disease and stroke, two leading causes of death in the United States.
No appointment is necessary. You Must be at least 18 years of age to be screened.

The Grand Re-opening of Be Well Farmers Marketplace will be held on May 28th at 10:00am, 2027 Salisbury St, St Louis, Missouri, 63107! Local Farmers and growers, Artisan Vendors, Food Trucks for your shopping and eating pleasure, along with , food demonstrations, cooking classes, garden demonstrations and fun for all! Our farmers marketplace will continue through October, 2022 with an indoor marketplace coming soon for your shopping comfort!
