Coworking Space Community Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision
- Staff recruitment
- Supervise the café manager, and iterns
- Review staff performance and offer constructive feedback
- Oversee scheduling of staff
Skills and Operations
- 3 – 5 years proven management and hospitality skills
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
- Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organized with excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Fulfills memberships through advertising and other outlets.
- Maintains property by investigating and resolving membership complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant spaces, completing repairs, contracting with cleaning, landscaping and snow removal services.
- Review invoices and submit for payment
- Monitor & maintain inventory for office, membership space and cafe
- Oversee onboarding and exiting members
- Exude professionalism
Community management
- Plan and host events for the coworking community to create connections
- Be a mediator between customers and members
- Facilitate connections between members and the community
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Management experience as a property manager, coworking space, or office manager
- Experience with hosting events
- Excellent customer service working in the food or hospitality industry

Be Well Cafe & Market Assistant Manager
We are hiring a Café and Market Assistant Manager to train now for our location scheduled to open in Summer 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career with us and be part of a small, dynamic and creative team. This is a full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the complete day-to-day operation of the café, market, and culinary incubator. Being responsible for maximizing store sales and profitability, minimizing expenses and ensuring that the store is optimally stocked and merchandised, and to amaze every customer every time.
Management Operations
- General Management of the café and market
- Maintain, order and stock inventory,
- Oversee the rental space for artisans in the café
- Oversee the rental space for the culinary incubator
- Provide inventory options based on current trends, availability of new products and customer interest
- Provide sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
Sales and marketing
- Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
- Manage social media accounts
- Develop relationships with local farmers, food producers and artisan products
- In-house promotions
Community management
- Host food and product demonstrations
- Private events for members
- Facilitate connections between members and the community
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor degree is a plus.
- Café, market and/or barista experience.
- Management experience working in a retail environment and/or hospitality industry
- Food Service training – current certification is a plus
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes

- Event Coordinator
The Event Coordinator will assist with devising and coordinating imaginative events, competitions and original multimedia events (both live audience and video). The Event Coordinator will help to inspire, excite and activate donors, and vendors. Will assist with monitoring the budget, booking venues, drawing up supplier contracts, working with the volunteer coordinator and volunteers with their fundraising efforts and ensuring they are kept up to date on all details of the event.
The Event Coordinator will serve 10-12 hours per month, when an event is planned. The Event Coordinator can work remotely and at the venue as needed. Volunteers or interns of all backgrounds are considered, however, preference will be given to business management, business or communication, hospitality, or event management.
